Individualized Educational Services
About
As a teacher and community member, I believe in educating all students and believe that all students can engage in meaningful, productive work that will prepare them for a meaningful, productive livfe. They will be able to contribute in a positive way to benefit their family, community and beyond!
We believe in providing a whole child based education, one that helps a child learn basic skills, academics, behavior and social skills. We do this by creating a no excuses environment where students feel safe to work and take risks to develop their intellect and mastery of new and challenging concepts.
Individualized Educational Services provides a hands-on real world education that balances modern tools with an image based conceptual understanding to ensure concepts are understood first then applied so students can use what they learn.
All students can learn, even those with disabilities. However, each child needs their own unique path to mastery of what they are learning. Once the appropriate supports are in place, there is nothing to stop them from learning anything that they want to learn, or what is expected to learn.
