Ruhan Tutors

Hi! I’m Ruhan Nayak, a high school senior passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I specialize in SAT/ACT prep, math courses from elementary math through calculus and statistics, science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, as well as English and History.

I currently have a 4.56 weighted GPA, have completed 14 AP courses, earned a 1520 SAT score, and scored a 34 on the ACT, so I understand firsthand the challenges students face in rigorous classes and standardized testing. I’ve been tutoring for over 3 years and mentoring students through organizations like the Science Alliance, where I taught science and biology concepts in engaging, approachable ways.

Students describe me as patient, supportive, and easy to work with. My teaching style focuses on step by step explanations and adapting lessons to each student’s learning style. I can help students to understand concepts so they can apply them independently and feel confident in class and on exams.
