Doro Laurila
About
I've been a teacher for forty years mainly on the elementary level; however I have a strong background in special education as well. In addition to teaching in New York and California I have also taught in Finland. I have a good reputation of being knowledgeable, compassionate, and tuned into students' needs with effective resources. I enjoy teaching and sharing quality time with all of my students.
I love teaching, and being rewarded with observations of positive results. It's a great feeling when you can make a positive impact upon your students. Invariably, I maintain contact with many of my former students due to all of the wonderful experiences we've had.
