Being fluent in four of them, and familiar with a few more, allows me to find commonalities in the origin of words, phrases and idioms.
I love to discover new uses of a word and to make language a living, breathing thing.
I enjoy teaching and making a difference in people's lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I want to listen to their needs. What are they struggling with most? What are they looking to achieve? How important is it for them to learn a new language for life?
Then, I look to adapt to their current assignments and give them as much as they ask of me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- BA in Communication (5 years) from Universidad Anahuac
- Masters in Semiotics (the study of signs and symbols and their use or interpretation).
- 30 years of voice-over work
- Wrote 3 stage plays and multiple documentaries.
- Trained reporters and on-camera talent in writing and screen presence.
- Taught theater for high school students.

How did you get started teaching?
I've always enjoyed mentoring and coaching one-on-one. I started in 1996, teaching acting to high school students in Mexico City.
When I worked in television, I enjoyed taking new talent, with little or no experience, and help them become TV personalities.

Teenagers and adults.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone whom you'll enjoy learning from. Look for a teacher who will challenge you while making it entertaining and fun.
We learn a lot better when we are having fun!

Are you willing to come prepared to the lessons? Are you looking to learn a new language that will help you for the rest of your life, or are you just looking to pass your class?
