M.D. Tutoring (Math, Science, MCAT, USMLE, SAT/ACT)

I have over 10 years of tutoring and mentoring experience. I just earned my Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of California, San Diego and before that graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in Psychobiology (combined major in Psychology and Biology). I have done well on standardized tests at every level of my education and can teach the general strategies of good test-taking. SAT: 2120 (perfect 800/800 on math) MCAT: 40 (99th percentile). USMLE Step 1 Score 247. Scored a 5 on over 10 AP tests.

I believe in tutoring as being about so much more than just teaching the material, but about helping to inspire and motivate my students, serving as their coach/mentor. This is what I find most meaningful about what I do.
