Hello, and welcome to my tutoring service, Pencil Me In! My name is Nathan Williams and I have 17 years of combined teaching experience at both the elementary and middle school levels.

While growing up in Encinitas, I was fortunate to have graduated from San Dieguito High School. I furthered my education at U.C.S.B. (GO GAUCHO'S) and earned B.A.'s in Environmental Studies and Anthropology. I later attended National University and earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

Throughout my scholastic years, I can honestly say that learning did not come easy. I remember how difficult school was for me, and the barriers I created to avoid failure. If it wasn't for the multiple teachers/tutors who successfully created a positive learning experience, and truly believed in me, I wouldn't have achieved academically.

My tutoring service focuses on students in grades 1st-5th. My overall goals as your child's tutor are to provide a safe and positive learning environment, which will increase their overall self-confidence in reading comprehension, penmanship, and phonemic awareness.
