Hello! My name is Alanna Perrin and I am a student in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly, SLO. My path of education gives me an excellent understanding of calculus, linear analysis, physics, and overall basic introductory engineering concepts. Additionally, I worked as a nanny for 4 years and loved engaging with children in a way that supported curiosity and exploration of new topics. Hey! I am a second year biological sciences major and volunteer educator. I have a long history and interest in science and am excited to share my knowledge with students. I am a current Special Education teacher at Arroyo Grande High School in Arroyo Grande California. I have been teaching for 6years. I have also had the privilege over the last 4 years of Co-teaching Algebra 1 where I have nailed down my Algebra 1 teaching strategies. As a special educator I know and understand that every student has a different way of thinking understanding and learning new content.
