What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Try to find what requirements students are looking for. Analyse and then jump onto setting up time to go over it. Make sure utilize students time perfectly. Patiently solve each and every doubt students has.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked with eBay and Microsoft. Have 6 years of experience with Java. I can help students with learning Design patterns and make them prepare for interview challenging questions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$70/hr typically . But if student just wants to learn core Java, I would charge $50/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
I used to teach Computer Science Masters students. Most of them ended up getting Grade A. Its my passion to help students learn something that I know.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly Masters and undergrad level students. But I am prepared to teach any level students unless they are passionate about learning.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire a teacher who value your time and understands your every single doubts/requirements. Sometimes students are frustrated when they are not able to understand which is very normal. Make sure teachers are quite patient with you which help you to overcome all your problems.
