I am a native French speaker born and raised in Dunkirk, France.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and has studied child development and teaching methods in the French Institute for School Teacher called “Iufm”.
I moved to the United States in 2002 and taught French to K-10thgraders in after-school programs and one-o-one private sessions. My lessons are always suited to the students needs.
During my off time, I like to visit my family in France and bring back teaching materials, goodies and rich experiences to students.
I love to share the French language and culture with my students through games, songs, skits, kraft, cooking, reading, writing and so on.
Caroline is a great teacher. Very patient with her student. Both of my kids took lessons with her and learn a lot. I recommend her .
Caroline has taught French to my two daughters for almost ten years. They have become proficient in reading and writing thanks to Caroline's effective teaching skills. My oldest daughter passed the AP French exam with grade 5 and my youngest is currently in the French Honors program.
Carolyn helped my son become a proficient and confident french speaking student. Her approach is one of patient and systematic building of vocabulary and pronunciations. As a result, my son came to enjoy learning French.
Caroline is patient, encouraging, and picks things that will help me master the French language.
