How did you get started teaching?
Teaching is my passion. I prefer to teach than have an empty day. I started when my children were born volunteering as the teaching assistant. Then we moved to China and I taught in the expat community and in the orphanages. When we returned I created a mommy & me music program (2008-2016) plus, a preschool music theory program. Next, Kidz Entrepreneur camp which lead to after school and home school classes. Public Speaking, Writing, Grammar & Book Club all followed, in class and online. I write curriculum as easy as I write a postcard. This is part of who I am.
What types of students have you worked with?
All. I prefer for writing 2-3rd grade. I have the curriculum.
Public Speaking - K- 6th. All types of students: gifted, ESL, homeschooled, tall , short, everyone!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be open and tell me if you understand what I am saying and if not I can change and help you understand the concept.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1) Are they open to learning a new way.
2) Do they understand the teachers learning style?
3) What do they need to bring to class?
