I am a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering in Stony Brook University, NY, and a current software engineer employee in Adobe, Inc on the 4th year mark.

I had 4 years of tutoring experience, mostly by online sessions. Before the class, I will receive the materials from the students and get prepared for the student's ask. My online tutoring sessions can be categorized for three main categories.

1. Course materials review: I will summarize and create bullet points of the important subjects with notes from my course experience, and have an interactive Q & A sessions with whiteboard to show them the details. Asking the students to hands-on with practice will further build the foundation for the students.

2. Assignment Clarification: Clarify how what the assignment is about and how to approach it.

3. Test prep: Based on the review materials and requirements student sent, I will adjust my teaching style to either direct answer with explanation on the practice tests or ask the students walk through the practice test while providing necessary helps.

Ive been working with Seward for over a year now on graduate level statistics, data science, and computer science-related topics. Hes thorough, willing to explain key concepts, and will always help fortify or build on your existing knowledge base. Whether thats revisiting nested looping or how the chain rule applies to back-propagation, hes covered it all. Most importantly, he always takes the time to tie it back to the lessons, so you can continue weaving a thread through your coursework!
