I used to Tutor when I was in College and I enjoyed explaining science subjects to the High School Kids as well as Middle school kids. I was always the go to person for all my fellow students for any science questions or Math. I really enjoyed sharing my knowledge. I even tutored Physics in college (1:1). I always enjoyed finding creative way to help students like science subjects and Math. I did pre-med in university and biology, chemistry and physics were my strong points.

I have a passion for helping others gain their true potential through creative ways. Not every student is the same and it's my belief that their strengths have to be identified to help them excel in the subject of their choice. The subject is never the issue, it is the way it is being taught is.

Difficult concepts were broken down into simple digestible bits and incrementally taught until a good understanding was achieved. This helped especially in subjects such as Physics which could be very theoretical and hard to visualize/apply. It definitely helped me and am grateful for her teaching.

I am currently a high school student in the Milpitas Area. I urgently needed help for my AP biology and AP chemistry as my main aim is to join the pre-med track in university. Ravneet hit the ground running by having an assessment of my knowledge. She was a great help in improving my understanding in the intermolecular forces, thermodynamics and ionic structures for AP Chemistry. She also helped me strengthen my AP biology knowledge by focusing on the area that we had identified as my weak points like genetics and animal physiology. All in all I am really happy I found her as tutor as not only have I improved in both AP Chemistry and AP Biology, my confidence has also been boosted by her.

I have Bachelor's in Biological sciences and tutoring experience from mid school to all the way college students.
I have done private 1:1 tutoring as well as group tutoring as a college student for high school kids.

No, I don't. It all depends on different grade level and the hours that the student needs help for.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching at high school while helping my fellow classmates. I used to hold an after school tuition for physics and biology for my grade level.
While I was university, I helped tutor high school kids in physics, maths, chemistry and biology. I also conducted sessions for my fellow classmates in university.

I am big music buff. Going to any concert is a event that excites me.
