I work individually with students to develop their writing and reading skills. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and three years of tutoring experience working with both native English speakers and ESL students.
I enjoy watching my students gain confidence in expressing and organizing their ideas in written form.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with new students, I make sure to address all parts of the writing prompt and help the student get their general ideas on paper. Then, I work with the student to organize their ideas and develop a thesis, and work on effective transitions to clearly communicate their message.
