Hi! My name is Maya, and I'm an experienced tutor and published writer with a B.A. in Communication from UC San Diego, a pre-medical post-baccalaureate certificate from Tufts University, and a background in healthcare research. I’m passionate about fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students of all ages as they work to develop their skills in reading, writing, English, and French.

Growing up in a bilingual English/French environment instilled in me a deep appreciation for the challenges and joys of learning a new language, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way. With extensive experience in creative writing, scientific writing, SAT reading and writing preparation, and essay writing, I can help you achieve your goals with confidence.
