About
Hi! I'm Michael, a recent graduate working in San Francisco. I've been tutoring both professionally (for my university) and on a personal basis for several years now. I am patient and always willing to take the extra time and energy to make sure my students understand the material.
I personally have achieved a 2200 on the SAT, 740 on the GMAT and a 5 on all my previous AP exams in high school (Eng, Chem, Stats, etc. 8 total). I'm a native english speaker but also speak fluent mandarin and am confortable teaching in either language.
When I work with students I break down sections, questions and concepts in order to pinpoint weak areas and address/improve them. I've helped many students achieve letter grade improvements in college classes (A's) and with students aiming to improve SAT scores and higher GMAT scores.
Let me know if you'd like to have a brief chat (off the clock) to see if I can help your situation and if it makes sense to work together.
-Michael
