Homework and assignment guidance introductions

As a current college student with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, School of Education, Elementary Education program with a major in Language Arts. I am a certified elementary teacher in all subject areas and am a certified language arts (English) teacher in elementary and middle school grade levels. I have student taught in 2nd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms and have taught 7th graders over the summer. I am enthusastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning!
