About
Passion for science and love of learning fuel my desire for students to achieve and feel positive about their skills and abilities in the classroom.
I've taught high school science for 28 years and middle school science and math for two years. Other subjects I've taught throughout my career have been physics, biology, integrated science, and physical science.
I've tutored all levels of chemistry including college chemistry and organic chemistry, integrated science and some math. My love of working with students is always the highlight of each and every day in the classroom.
Currently I'm in my 25th year at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, CA where I teach Chemistry, Honors Chemistry and AP Chemistry. I am credentialed in California to teach high school chemistry and in Texas to teach any high school science subject which required much coursework and testing to attain.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$75 per hour in my home and $90-$100 per hour if I travel to you.
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching is in my family. My mother and grandmother were lifelong teachers. I wanted to interact with others on a daily basis instead of being isolated in a chemistry lab so I decided to add secondary science education courses to my BS studies.
