About

Hi Guys,

I am a Berkeley student who currently is in self-quarantine due to the recent measures passed by the government, preventing me from seeking employment in-person. I am available to tutor your k-12 child in the subjects of Mathematics up to Calculus BC, Compsci up to AP Compsci A, and History classes in general. I can also tutor in Biology and some Physics.

I have been tutoring for several years now, and I have plenty of experience working with children in both tutoring and volunteering opportunities.

Please message me about the subject and availability if you are interested. My starting rate is $20, although that may change based on the circumstance.

I have been teaching students for almost 5 years, working with local kids in my area. I enjoy walking them through many of the familiar classes and topics that I myself struggled with, like AP Calculus or AP Computer Science. For others, I want to be able to spark an interest in a subject that I was never too interested in high school, such as History, where I began to see History as more than just a class I had to take and as a legitimately fun topic to learn, thanks to several youtube channels.

Frequently asked questions

When working with a new student, I want to try to get to know who I am working with first: how they learn, what they might need help with, and interests them, etc. so I can create a curriculum that is both informative and engaging.

I have several years of experience teaching kids in my local area.

My starting price $20, although due to the recent circumstances, that may rise.

I started helping fellow students back when I was in school, helping them with whatever they're struggling with, such as trigonometry or biology.

I've worked with college, high school, and middle school students mostly. I occasionally work with elementary school students. My teaching is mostly academic, although I do some sports and music coaching as well.

First off, think about what you want from a tutor and be clear with them. Do you want to solve a problem, or do you want to supplement what you're learning in class? Both are valid reasons to look for a tutor, but telling them allows them to prepare the curriculum better.
