About
Hi everyone! My name is Danielle and I just recently graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with Departmental Honors. I am now doing my post-graduate studies at SF State University as a premedical student and working at UCSF as a research assistant.
I have experience mentoring middle school students since 2015, particulary through my involvement with a UCLA on-campus organization called The Bruin Experiment, in which I helped inspire underserved youth to create and develop their own science experiments. Although I have no formal paid experience with tutoring, I have experience tutoring my younger brother while he was in middle school and now in high school with subjects that he struggled with, specifically biology, chemistry, and algebra. I believe I have the knowledge and skills to teach concepts in a way that is simple and easy to understand. I understand the frustration and challenges that comes with learning new subjects, however, I am very patient and will help you work through these problems with guidance and encouragement.

I love seeing how excited students can be after they have learned to solve a seemingly difficult problem. I enjoy being able to help students overcome any academic difficulties, ultimately helping them become successful in school and confident in their knowledge of the material.
