As a past peer writing tutor, adjunct writing professor, and current PhD in Literature candidate at UCSD, I'm quite familiar with working with students from all writing levels and contexts. My goal is thus to make sure that your work is scaffolded into something that you can be proud of. Viewing writing and readings as a skills to be developed in process, my wish is to best improve them, but on your terms. After all, we are all very different writers and readers, so it would be unfair to put my own stylistic preferences onto you. Instead, I'd like to work with you and decide together on what is a priority so that we can map together a path to get there.
