I have been tutoring for over 14 years. I am confident I can help students of all age groups with math - I like to adapt to whatever pace the student is most comfortable with. I can observe where the student is making mistakes and walk them through the problems.
I am enthusiastic about teaching and like to motivate my students to get excited about the material. My students have positive reviews of my work where they see a change in their grade/confidence levels and I can provide references as needed.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to discuss the student's goal. Some students are motivated to reach a desired grade while some want to go back and learn the fundamentals. I will create a plan based on what the student's needs are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started tutoring while I was in high school and ended becoming a teachers assistant for an electrical engineering course (control systems) and held weekly office hours. I also received a fellowship to tutor engineering students at UCI.
