I have 20+ years experience in scientific research, teaching, and mentoring and have a passion for training new scientists. I was an Assistant Professor at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) for 7 years. While in this position, I taught medical school immunology for 7 years and special semiars for rheumatology fellows. I have mentored 10-12 undergraduate students in my lab at the bench. In graduate and undergraduate school, I served as online teaching assistant and in-person tutor for immunology and biochemistry.
