Working with Arthur has been fantastic. Arthurs extensive knowledge on the AP Biology curriculum made studying come easy. Arthur has been able to answer all of my questions and has helped my test-taking ability. I look forward to continue being tutored by Arthur.

Art’s STEM Tutoring lessons were consistently very thorough and detailed, and I always felt that I was getting a comprehensive coverage of the material he was tutoring me on. He has a strong ability to break down complex topics into concise information chunks that allowed me to better understand the material. This also allowed me to make very clear notes that made reviewing for and studying material later on my own much easier.

Arthur does an extremely good job at teaching. He elaborates clearly and makes the material a lot easier to understand than most people. He goes out of his way to help you understand by teaching you with different methods! Definitely recommend him to any other students struggling.

Frequently asked questions

The first thing I do is introduce myself and ask the student to introduce themselves. Then I let them know that I'm there to help them and that I want to create an environment where they are able to succed. I ask them about how they think they learn best and what they think they struggle with. After the introductions and tone has been set, I ask the student if they have any questions or if they can explain to me the last thing they learned. With this, I gather information about their abilities/understanding to better asses how I can best be of help to that particulat student

I was TA at UCSD and have completed various teaching/tutoring courses. My major training comes from my intesting in teaching for the last decade
