About

I am an audio engineer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist with real-world experience creating music for independent video games and films.

I take a teach-you-to-teach-yourself approach so that you can work on your own time as well. A real teacher shoul never be a gateway to secrets. I want to help you avoid the pitfuls in your practice that held me back.

I love sharing the passion I have for creating music with others.

Great experience all around with Rob. Hes knowledgeable in not only music composition and theory but the inner workings of mixing and mastering. Rob was able to explain and clear up many of the issues I was having in my mixes and offer some tips and insight into improving my mastering overall. He even helped me finalize one of the tracks Id been struggling to complete due to writers block. Recommended.

I started teaching guitar in my hometown at 16 an ontinued teach it ever since. More recently, after offering to help someone out on Reddit, I found I really enjoyed teaching audio engineering and mixing to other musicians.

I've mostly worked with hobbyist musicians looking to up their game.

Ask questions! See if they have the same sense of humor as you. Make sure you like their style of music. If you're are interested in Lof-fi Chillwave but go to a Jazz tutor you may not get as much out of it.
