Recent graduate from USC Marshall with an MBA and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan where I majored in History and French. I spent seven summers in France growing up doing immersion programs and spent the summer after my Freshman year of college interning in Paris. I started tutoring French back in high school and continued to do so in college. I am absolutely a Francophile and love all things French-related. I've worked with students in elementary school all the way through college and am comfortable with all levels. My goal is to make students feel at ease and know that there is never a dumb question especially when le

I graduated from Yale with a BA in French and History of Art in 2016. At Yale, I received the 2015 Scott Prize for the best French essay with a film analysis titled "La vie à deux : intégration ou juxtaposition." I also helped found the Yale Photography Society where I co-organized student exhibits and taught Korean at the Center for Language Study as a peer language tutor. My early experience was built around short-term projects at different art institutions: I translated a curatorial text from French into English for the summer exhibit at La Galerie Maeght, Paris. Then, in Prague, I edited a short play and a book (documenting a project spa...

I feel compelled to share a great "find" we made last year. School had only been in session for two weeks before my kids came home lamenting that their AP Physics teacher left them totally confused and stressed out. Switching to a less demanding schedule wasn't an option so I decided to look for some help. Lord knows, it wasn't going to come from me or my husband! I found Daniel, a 2012 UCLA engineering grad who has been tutoring for many years. After the boys' first meeting with him, the level of stress in our household plummeted and the boys did well on their first physics test. We've decided to have him come regularly, just to make sure the boys understand the material and keep them confident. The boys ended up with A's in the class and doing well on the AP test. Daniel was able to help them with anything they didn't get in their calculus class as well. So as you stare the next school year in the face, if your child has any difficulty with their studies, especially in math or physics, consider talking to Daniel. He's a lovely young man and the boys really responded to him well.
