I do not have any teaching experience and I am a student myself, majoring in Biotechnology. Being a student, I can completely understand what study-related frustrations feel like especially when students don't understand the concepts being taught and when their grades are low. I want to take the effort to make a difference and prove it to students that nothing is impossible and also every student has the potential to do anything.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would first get to know the student. I will teach him or her a certain concept using my methodology of teaching and test the student towards the end to see how much he/she has grasped. Based on how much the student is able to grasp, I will proceed with my teaching methods.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should mainly feel free and comfortable to ask for concepts that they feel is challenging to them and also feel free to ask the teacher to repeat a concept in case they didn't understand it for the first time.
