About
Patient and Knowledgeable Tutor.
I am Srikanth! I graduated with distinction, with a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, and a Masters in Finance from the University of California. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years and have had great success with my students. I have a true passion for teaching and engaging with students in an educational discourse in their middle and high school time.
In high school, I admired my teachers and professors for articulating science concepts and imparting their knowledge to the class with great effort. Initiating a new concept with a real-life example and then evolving with deeper meaning and application of it, is what excited me the most. I want to engage in this form with my students and in addition, bring my own professional experience.
I understand the difference in various phases of learning, where focus can go from beginning a new topic, gaining comfort level in a new concept to take the students to achieve good grades with time management methods in tests. The special needs of the specific curriculum such as AP or IB have closely followed and prepared students for.
I have multiple years of experience tutoring high school kids in Algebra II, Honors Pre-Calculus, and Physics. I can tutor in many Science, Math and Engineering subjects. They are Math – Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Digital Logic. Simulation of Logic design using Verilog/VHDL, FPGA
prototyping using Xilinx and Altera devices and boards. Computer programming in C, C++ & Python.
I am a professional in my dealings with parents and students. I like to understand each student need from the specific purpose and I want my students to benefit from my tutoring as much as possible. I am familiar with AP and IB course curriculum and also the short time available for students during their middle and high school. I can help high schooler’s through the course matter and year-end exams through my pre-prepared plan.
