B.S. Plant Biology from UC Davis

I am a full time Teaching Assistant at the Junior College level with 7 years experience tutoring students in General Biology, Evolution and Ecology, Plant Bioogy, and Zoology. I spend most of my time tutoring students preparing to transfer to the Univeristy of California system.

I have a CBST certification and have completed teaching internships at the Junior High and High School level, as well as having completed several courses in education psychology while earning my degree at UC Davis.

I love tutoring on an individual level, as it gives me the opportunity to untangle subjects that have been overcomplicated by many instructors. By focusing on the fundamental concepts, finer details are more easily understood, and the beauty of biology can be revealed. I believe everyone is capable of learning and mastering science curriculum, and I specialize in simplifying foundational concepts.
