I love teaching Spanish. I enjoy creating lessons that are dynamic, engaging, and fun. I like to focus on getting the students speaking as soon as possible and beginning to understand spoken Spanish quickly. I teach beginner to intermediate levels.
A little about me: I have a degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. A few years after college, I moved to Santiago, Chile and taught English. It was a great experience. I then came back to the States and taught children with autism. Then, I returned to Chile and ended up staying for four years!
I love seeing students progress quickly with Spanish. The best part is when they begin to understand spoken Spanish without translating!
As for teaching English, I also love when the students begin to understand English without translating. When I taught in Chile, I also liked that I was helping the students improve their lives because in Chile if you speak English, you can make more money in most jobs there.
The teacher has had vast experience and not only knows vocabulary, but speaks Spanish like a native, so I could learn the flow and pronunciation of the language. She makes it seem so easy!
I like to find out what the student would like to focus on. Then, I create lessons plans suited to the students needs.

I charge $25 per one hour lesson. I also have a package of 10 classes for $220, which is a savings of $30.
I have always loved teaching. I taught English as a Foreign Language in Chile for four years and I taught English online for three years. I recently started teaching Spanish and enjoy it even more as it is my passion.
