Hi there! I have 3 years of experience tutoring both in high school and university, with even more experience nannying my niece, nephew, and neighbors. I am an aspiring teacher and recently completed a policy internship in Sacramento focused on K-12 online learning, the digital divide, and education equity. My engaging and creative teaching style inspires students to get excited about learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I am a patient and calm tutor with a diverse set of strategies to keep students engaged with their curriculum. I design creative lesson plans that are unique to an individual student's learning style and ensure learning is both effective and fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have experience with tutoring all four years of high school as an AP student, school site council member, captain of the speech and debate team, and president of the California Scholarship Federation on my campus. I also was involved with tutoring during my time at Sierra College and Sac City College before transferring to UC Davis.
