About
My services stand out because I aim to make each lesson personal to each student. Not all lessons will be the same and all student's lessons will always be different. I like to be able to connect with the student and come off as an equal rather than a teacher.
I started to tutor last year with high school level essay writing and I absolutely fell in love with helping students succeed and feel more confident about their writing.
I now help with college level resumes, essays, and also writing portfolios.
I enjoy the satisfaction of helping students succeed and gain confidence in their writing ability.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I remember tutoring one of my students and it was on an argumentative essay. I didn't like the way his teacher wanted him to format his essay, so I told him not to do it that way. He was hesitant at first, but he got the highest grade in the class. I got his grade from a C- to an A- in the few months of tutoring him and he is doing great now.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher you would want to connect with. A personal connection always makes a lesson more fun.
