Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with students in a classroom, I often try to figure out the assets and needs of the child. From there, I can try different strategies that I believe would help the student by using their assets. For example, many of th 4th grade students in my class from student teaching loved to draw and were visual learners. I would incorporate drawing or visuals to enhance the students learning by making them feel successful.
