I believe every child can succeed when given the right tools, guidance and encouragement. With over 20 years of experience in education, child welfare, and social science research, I’ve learned to support learners of diverse abilities and learning styles. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar, reading comprehension, and essay writing.

I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology and have experience teaching students from elementary through high school, both individually and in small groups. I’m a passionate volunteer, and teach spoken English (online) to students in Sri Lanka and refugee students in the Sacramento region.
