About

Hello! I'm Molly and I have a B.S. in Biochemistry and I am currently preparing to go off to school again to receive my PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry.

I have been tutoring for 4 years and I absolutely love helping out other students. I have taught ages ranging from 6 years old up to Seniors in Undergrad in various subjects, though my favorite has to be Chemistry (there is some bias there I suppose).

Feel free to find me on LinkedIn and/or email me ([email protected]) with any of your questions. I am open to online tutoring (eg. Skype, Facetime, email) with services anywhere from hour long sessions, to just helping you figure out that one homework question that you've been stuck on.

Let the learning begin!

Chemicals all have their own personalities. Like for instance, Oxygen is needy when it comes to electrons so they will make SURE those electrons are around 'em. Chemistry is more than just a series of memorizing certain theorums and formulas- it is an entire world full of different personalities and behaviors. I love turning a scary subject into an entertaining one!

Frequently asked questions

Contact me via email ([email protected]) FIRST and give me a short summary of your grade level, subject you wish to be tutored in, and your academic goals. From there, all sessions will be handled online through Skype, Facetime, or email. The first session will be partly us learning more about each other and to help me understand your learning style and how the teacher/professor prefers to teach the material.

I have a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Business Administration from Baylor University. I am currently in the process of applying for my PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry.

I have tutored the Baylor University student athletes in subjects such as Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Calculus II, Biology, Pre-Calculus, and various other disciplines.

I taught at a summer school for elementary students which included curriculum in Language Arts, Science, Math, Art, and Engineering.

I was a Teaching Assitant in an Undergraduate General Chemistry Lab and helped run experiments using concepts taught in lecture.

The first session is only $20/hour because part of the session is just getting some background and learning more about what will be the best way for YOU to learn.

After the first session, I charge $25/hour. Tutoring should be accessable to everybody and should not be a financial burden, therefore I try to set my price at an affordable level and I do not require a certain time that our session must last.
