About
My name is Nathan Kim, and I have been a tutor for over 5 years, teaching individuals from ages 5 - 25 in a variety of subjects, even tutoring native Chinese people in English!
I am currently a medical student and received a 34 on my ACT, earning me a full ride to my undergraduate institution. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and tutored 20 hours a week during college for a large sum of subjects, from ACT subject tests to calculus.
I am very motivated, goal-oriented, and as a medical student, know what it takes in order to achieve the best results possible. I will make sure that you receive the best education possible!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically like to sit down with the student and talk to them about what they are struggling with. Depending on the tutoring subject involved, I will give them an evaluation test prior to any learning to measure their skill level.
Following that, I generally have a very good idea of what areas the student needs improvement in, and we address it right away.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a tutoring license, Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and biology, and am a medical school matriculant.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25/hr at a flat rate. No exceptions, please.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from ages 5-25, including students with ADHD and Down's Syndrome.
I have also worked with many highly motivated students who ended up going on to Ivy League colleges with their achieved test scores.
