I've taught and tutored many students over the past 30 years. My favorite subjects to teach are math and science, but I'm experienced teaching a wide range of subjects. I have a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Stanford School of Medicine, and have worked at NASA, Stanford , and Genentech. My students' ages range from elementary through adult.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It works well if a new student sends me the current lesson, so I can look it over before the tutoring session. That way, I can save the student time and money by being prepared before the session starts. However, if a student needs tutoring immediately without sending the lesson first, then that works fine too.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PhD from Stanford School of Medicine and former NASA scientist. Extensive tutoring experience in basic math through Calculus, as well as Science and other subjects.
