Camille was an absolute life saver my first semester of college. She was extremely flexible with scheduling and saved my grades this semester. She did an amazing job at explaining the different materials to me and took the time to really make sure I understood everything.

Camille is a wonderful tutor. She is extremely knowledgeable about chemistry and can explain concepts in terms that are easy to understand. She has good rapport with her students and relates well with them. We are so thankful to have found her!

I was lucky enough to take Bi/Ch 110: Biochemistry with Camille McAvoy at Caltech. Camille was the head TA of this class-- and singlehandledly shaped the curriculum of this class. Camille is an incredibly passionate teacher -- she not only has a strong mastery of the material, but she knows how to teach it incredibly well. She helped me understand difficult concepts in general chemistry, biochemistry and organic chemistry with ease. She went beyond her call of duty in terms of helping students like me during office hours and discussions. She created challenging, yet engaging problems sets. I would wholeheartedly recommend Camille as a tutor. She has been a role model and a true archetype of an effective teacher and scientist.
