What makes being an independent freelance math/science tutor satisfying is knowing that I can pass on not only my knowledge in these subjects, but also I'll be passing on my perspective and wisdom in how to view math and science. They're too often the most feared subjects in academia, and I think if STEM outreach is going to succeed, my students have to be able to look at math and science in a way that's not taught in the classroom. I'll be providing practical knowledge and applications for how math and science works.

I've been freelancing tutoring back in Orange County from 2014 - 2018, worked as a mathematics instructor in Mathnasium from 2018 - 2021 (all while I was in college). Not only did this help retain my knowledge I'm using in school, but I was also taking my own experiences as an electrical engineering student and passing it onto my students. I was truly in a phase of life where I was in between being a student and mentor. Now I am working as an electrical engineer, but still have time to pass on my wisdom, knowledge and perspective onto other students who strive to pass and/or excel in their math/science courses.
