I like to teach things not only through repetition, but through conceptual reduction. Something I've noticed with many of my own teachers is that so much education is based solely on repetition, which is necessary but insufficient. It doesn't matter how many times someone practices factoring polynomials, the skill won't stick if they don't understand what they're doing. I am a local college student who once struggled in math, however, I made it my duty to learn and master the math showed to me during my K-12 math career.
