What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first assess the math and physics background of a student and also inquire about their past successes or concerns in previous math and science courses. The strategy after that is to make sure that the student has a solid and deep foundation with the material for which they are seeking tutoring. This is followed by general practice and review of assignments.
