Vasvi Mongia

Hi! I’m Vasvi, an academic tutor with over 5 years of experience helping students aged 6 to 18 thrive in various subjects. I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University.

I provide tutoring services for elementary and junior high students in foundational math, general science, reading comprehension, grammar, and essay writing. At the high school level, I teach algebra 1, biology, chemistry, English literature, and all forms of academic writing.

I also provide SAT prep support, particularly for the Reading, Writing & Language, and Math sections, and I scored in the 93rd percentile on my own exam with a near-perfect score in writing. I specialize in assisting students with their college applications, including editing and revising application essays.

I strive to meet students where they are. I take an encouraging and structured mentorship-based approach that builds confidence, independence, and academic success.
