About
I have a Bachelor's from Stanford and a Master's degree in Education from Cambridge University in the UK. I am a a trained teacher with over 14 years of teaching experience. I have been tutoring since 2006 and have also taught full-time at a middle school and a high school for 2 years. In 2012 I won the Gates Scholarship for my work as a teacher.
I tutor a range of subjects, including college admissions counselling. Through Elementary and Middle school I tutor all subjects. I also teach study skills, art, web design and creative writing and have worked with a few peninsula families on using the Singapore curriculum for a better grasp on mathematical concepts. At the high school and college level, I tutor Math, English and History as well as help with college essays.
I love working with kids. I always strive to create an educational environment that is impactful, engaging and memorable and that fosters creativity and inquiry.

I usually start with a free consultation with the parent and/or the parent can also email/text me some relevant information about their child. Then we start our tutoring!
