Hi there! I am currently a Sophomore double majoring in Engineering Physics and Applied Mathematics at Santa Clara University. I am very passionate about learning new things by trying new things. I am particularly skilled in the subjects of mathematics and physics, as that is where my desire to learn more began. I received a 5 on both AP calculus exams, AP physics C: Mechanics + E&M, and AP chemistry.
During the covid-19, I began tutoring kids locally in my neighborhood over zoom as I saw a struggle for students to grasp new material. Since then, I have continued to tutor students in middle and high school, ranging from math fundamentals to calculus and beyond. I tutor fellow students at SCU through the mathematics learning center in the full calculus sequence. I have tutored over 2 dozen kids through my business and plan to continue doing so throughout my academic career.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet with a new student, I first try to understand what their ultimate goal is in school and on a broader scale too. Having good connections with older mentors can be very beneficial to younger students, which is why I try to create a personal relationship with students as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently enrolled at Menlo Atherton High School in Atherton, CA in the class of 2022. Even though i've taken many STEM classes while in school, I also always teach myself new concepts in math and sciences for fun, and one of my favorite things to do is explain those new concepts to other people.

I charge a fee of $40 per hour.
