College Essay Help From A Stanford Graduate
About
My approach to the college application focuses on presenting the student's individuality and personal spirit as accurately as possible. In our sessions, we may:
- Discuss the student's journey through schooling so far, and what they wish to convey in their application- what they believe their "best foot forward" might be
- Strategize the overall approach to an application- reflecting on academics, interests, and goals to determine their current values
- Go over editorial feedback to ensure that the essays are as concise and rich as possible.
While many students excel in their academics and extra-curriculars, the personal essays provide students the opportunity to demonstrate their unique point of view. I also believe the college application process can be a transformational experience for students, and I am happy to provide a supportive container to explore potentially tender and sensitive topics.
