Make sure the teacher is patient and genuine about teaching any type of learner without biases.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Write questions and concerns down so you get the most out of your dialogue with any teacher. It helps to know what you want to say specific to your own learning needs. For example if you are a visual learner and you know this, tell the teacher up front you like visual components for better understanding the topic. Some teachers will assume students are audio and waste a lot of time.
