Samantha Richards

Hi! I'm Samantha! I'm currently a high school student aspiring to become an elementary school teacher! I am extremely patient as I grew up with a younger brother with Autism, as well as my aunt who is developmentally disabled. I'm passionate about adapting my teaching style to each student as no student's learning patterns are the same. I also make sure to foster each student's confidence in learning. Specifically, because children only know what we teach them! Building their confidence in learning will only help them as they grow into adults. What I love most about tutoring children is the look on their faces once they start to understand what they're struggling with. It gives me such joy to give students stepping stones toward their learning goals. I also greatly respect parent feedback and will never be offended when given constructive criticism as parents know their children much better. I will gladly receive feedback and adapt to whatever the needs of the students are.
