High School Math Tutoring
About
Throughout my years in school, I really enjoyed learning and teaching mathematics. I would always study my lessons enough to the point where I could comfortably teach them to someone else - this led to me taking on multiple positions as a K-12 Math Tutor.
In the six years I have been tutoring math, the most enjoyable moment is seeing my students come to understand something they did not quite understand. I think the best part of the job is when I hardly need to make any corrections because that is how I know my students will do well. I see this as a win-win situation!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I get a new student, the first thing I try to do is to establish a connection with them by breaking the ice and talking about anything they like. Next, I ask them about what they already understand in the class material and what areas they don't yet understand. From there, I plan out the best way to teach those topics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring K-12 mathematics since 11th grade. I am currently in my fourth year of college and I have completed math through to calculus.
