Emily Bertucci Fine Art
About
I'm an extremely versatile art teacher. I have the ability to teach students of all ages and backgrounds a wide range of artistic skill. I have a natural proclivity towards abstraction, however love the challenge of realism. I work primarily with oil paint, but I am well versed in charcoal, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. I'm a muralist and digital painter as well.
I want to make learning art fun and educational. I want my students to feel like they create anything their heart's desire with splendor and ease!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk with my students and get to know what their goals are artistically. Then, I currate unique lesson plans that help each student acheive their individual artistic goals. I offer help with developing skills in drawing, AP Studio Art, landscape painting, digital painting (with Procreate on iPad) and much more!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Bachelors of Fine Art in drawing and painting from Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD) during the pandemic in 2020. With foundations rooted in classical traditions, LCAD has trained me to see and interpret the world around me by teaching me how to be a skilled representational painter. In addition to the heavy figurative emphasis, I’ve had exposure to landscape painting and formed a deep love of painting en plein air. I have participated in many plein air painting events across Orange County and San Diego. I received first place in Laguna Plein Air Painter's Association's Next Generation Paint Out in 2018.
