About
Looking for a tutor or a piano teacher? I am here to help! Growing up in Hong Kong and studying English at a young age, I am fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. I have experiences in working with kids, and I used to volunteer at an elementary school as a classroom aide. In addition to that, I have been playing piano for 15 years and passed the Grade 8 piano examination recognized by The Associate Board of Royal Schools of Music. I value interaction between students and teachers becaue it is an important process in learning. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I would first ask them what their needs are and set up a plan that focuses on those needs. As time moves on, I can adjust the plan to make it more suitable to each unique student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a psychology major, with focuses in neuropsychology and child developmental issues. Therefore, this makes me a good candidate for interacting with kids. I have taken classes and gained knowledge how kids behave in different situations. When I am tutoring, I am also gaining new knowledge.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Tutoring for ESL/Language: $40/hr (online)
Piano classes: $70/hr
(Note: Piano classes do not include textbooks in which students would need buy it themselves, but I will try to make the class material more accessible.)
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with elementary school students (K-12).
