About
With a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, I have more than 8 years experience teaching Biology and AP Biology to students in California colleges and high-schools in the US. With a California CTE teaching credential for Health Sciences and Medical Technology, I combine my deep knowledge of Biology with proficiency in pedagogy.
I help each student by simplifying concepts in biology and connecting the content to what's happening around us to make it relevant and come alive. I cater to each student's individual goals and needs by meeting them where they are at, and personalize my tutoring. I use PowerPoint slides to teach on Zoom and make my classes interactive. Students receive extensive practice with test taking during my sessions. My goal is for the student to feel confident about the content and excited to learn Biology!
